I consider myself an activist and stand up for what is important to me. In everything I do, I always ask myself: Why am I doing this? What fulfills me about it? Does it also benefit the people around me? If I can answer these questions, I start taking action. Otherwise, I prefer to leave it alone.
Random facts: I meditate regularly, have a passion for interior design, and love Open Street Maps. I also like to keep things organized – which probably explains my fondness for code.
Developer and Digital Consultant
I think logically and like to do things myself. In my work as a developer and digital consultant, I can empower people like you digitally and pass on my knowledge. That makes me happy.
I work differently than most companies because I simply know my customers and yogis better. In addition, all my code is open-source, as is my tech stack.
Massage and Bodywork
To balance this out, I am training to become a massage therapist. Our bodies store a lot of emotions, and my job is to knock out the old and invite in the new.
My path to bodywork probably stems from my own experience: the gift of touch heals. Thai massage (Nuad) has taken on a special place in my life.
Yoga and Meditation
I have been practicing yoga regularly for more than seven years. Apart from asanas, I started my spiritual journey out of a deep longing: I wanted to find stability and strive for something greater.
In my everyday life, I am a yoga teacher and part of a spiritual community. I volunteer at a yoga studio, where I do seva work. Seva is an aspect of yoga and means selfless service.
Masculinity and Feminism
Masculinity is a topic that affects us all. I see it as my responsibility to reflect on my masculinity and question patterns and socialization.
As part of the "XwhY" project, I host a wide variety of formats in which men* can experience their gentleness and emotionality, thereby potentially contributing to a more just, feminist, and inclusive world.
Climate justice und foodsharing
I like to think in circles, and transparency is very important to me. When it comes to food in particular, there are gaps that I would like to fill.
I dumpster dive and rescue food, distributing it to my neighbors and people who are happy to receive it. The people at Robin Foods have had a significant influence on me.
